The AILAZYME® AG Series is a family of industrial glucoamylase solutions developed for efficient starch saccharification in starch processing and ethanol production. These enzymes hydrolyze α-1,4 glycosidic bonds and, at a lower rate, α-1,6 linkages to produce fermentable glucose, maximizing starch conversion efficiency during saccharification and simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF).

Product Overview

The AILAZYME® AG Series consists of high-performance glucoamylase preparations produced through controlled microbial fermentation. Depending on the selected grade, the series includes both conventional glucoamylase products and advanced enzyme systems incorporating pullulanase to improve debranching and starch conversion efficiency.

The AG Series is designed for saccharification following starch liquefaction and can also be applied during simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF), supporting high glucose yields and efficient ethanol production.

During ethanol production, the AG Series converts dextrins produced during liquefaction into fermentable glucose for yeast fermentation. Selected grades are suitable for conventional saccharification as well as simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF).
